Siegfried Vynck @ The Crystal Ship 2016

Siegfried Vynck plays a home match in Ostend.

The paintings of his grandfather Piet Van den Buys – an expressionist – brought him within close contact with art on a very young age. Influences from baroque, surrealism, pop art and manga are always noticable in his works along with personal thematics like impossible love, salvation and redemption. Startling and often frightening settings and abstract worlds represent his work.

For The Crystal Ship he made a modern triptych inspired by Ostend and the sea, spread across three locations.
